    The lady receptionist was not very polite. I also found a cockroach in the room. In the bathroom, the liquid provided was not labelled, so it was unclear whether it was body wash, shampoo, or something else. This should be properly labelled for guests. There was also no complimentary toothbrush or toothpaste provided. Instead, a toothbrush was being sold separately for RM4, which was disappointing, especially as these are basic amenities I would normally expect to be provided

    Hotel Waterfall is a very basic, bare-minimum budget hotel similar to a *** concept. The location is not as convenient as expected either, as reaching Penang Adventist Hospital still requires a short Grab ride costing around 5 MYR. ​Overall, the stay was quite disappointing in terms of comfort and amenities. Room facilities are extremely minimal with only liquid soap provided, and drinking water has to be refilled using a kettle from the corridor dispenser. The shower water temperature was very inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between lukewarm and completely cold. More concerning were the safety and maintenance issues, as the door latch was loose and almost falling off, and navigating between hallway floors requires passing through dark, eerie stairwells. I would only recommend this if you strictly need an ultra-budget spot just to sleep, but keep your expectations very low.
