    Boutique business hotel that's very conveniently located at the centre of city. Walkable to gem stores and eateries, steps away from a supermarket and has few nice cafes around. Rooms are well furnished, nice views of sunset by the pool and of Colombo Tower by the bar area at night. Just found eccentricity - one has to make a deposit to order room service and any item takes minimum 30-40mins to arrive even if that means a piece of toast. Wanted to try the high tea as advertised, but it wasn't available. Enjoyed the rooftop views at night with good selection of drinks & music.

    The location is really good. I got the sea view room which was great. You can walk around to have a taste of different cuisines. Onething I was uncomfortable was that few staff behaviour was not welcoming. However, the restaurant staff were good and willing to serve different food items to make us try many local food items.

    Customer service poor food quality terrible menu online is different to the menu at pool bar cloud…told the menu had changed but old menu must still be showing on hotel website had to wait 25 minutes for my bill at cloud bar spent 30 mins when I arrived trying to find somewhere to get food and a drink so many rules up and down in the escalator having to listen to staff give rules about when you could get something to eat I ended up ordering french fries which had been covered in salt so had to ask for fresh portions the chicken that was ordered was so dry it came with curry sauce which was awful looked like it was a packet mix curry sauce and then a curry came on to the table took away some of the food so I paid 2800 for a meal that was terrible when I mentioned it a check out they weren’t interested…the worst hotel I have stayed in Colombo and totally different experience form other Cinnamon hotels
