    It is everything a hotel in japan should not aspire to be. It is Dorms like not hotel ... No japanese customer service given the price. Cleaning every 3 days only No water supplied to the rooms avoiding plastic they say. Yet they give you Coffee bags full of plastic No proper toothpaste only papers Pyjamas are very old and sizes are limited You can't tell who is working there and who is not. They dress casually Limited customer service Cutting cost at every corner and zero japan feel. It feels like SF where you pay alot and get the minimum justified by going green with no proper alternatives....

    The place was in a great location in relation to Shibuya. The cafe/bar downstairs was great, as was the restaurant upstairs. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The downside was that it was compact - the floor space was minimal and I had to stand on my sisters bed in the middle of the night to get to the restroom. All part of the charm, but keep in mind if you are a little more immobile. The beds are on a shared platform and not on a bedfram.e

    I've stayed in 2 and 3 star hotels in Japan that all felt a lot cleaner and had more amenities on offer than this hotel. The bed sheets were incredibly coarse and unpleasant to sleep in and the lighting in the room is terrible. location is great - very near the central shopping area if that's what your after and don't mind compromising on room comfort
