    The room is spacious and the facilities are clean. They offer free refreshments at the reception area and you may get your amenities freely. The communal bath is clean but a bit small. During busy seasons, I think it'll be hard to use it. But since I came on a fairly slow day, I was able to take my time and enjoy soaking in the water. Although, I wished it the temperature was a bit hotter. As for the breakfast, I think it's not much worth of an add-on. The selection is ok but it's mostly fried or processed food. Also, they have this ugly long table where individual travelers are assigned to. It makes you feel a bit uncomfortable eating with strangers. They should remove that long table and make counter tables facing the window. Move those potted plants behind the reception drink area so that guests won't see the other people lining up in the elevator. They can easily fit 1 more 6 seater table and 3 sets of 2 seater tables. Lastly, if you are a light sleeper, it might not be best to book this hotel. If you get assigned in the lower floors, it will be noisy. You can hear the cars outside and even the rain. I was assigned in the 4th floor, room facing the main road. It was indeed noisy. As to the other facilities like the laundry area, I think it's good and clean as well.

    It seems like the hotel staff are having a fatigue of tourists, they don't seem as friendly as other hotels I've stayed in Japan. They don't greet you when you are back and stare blankly, but very quick to tell you the rules to abide to e.g. don't wear your room slippers for breakfast. They only make your room after 3 days. It has nice facilities with good public bath, breakfast is not bad.
