    Very well set up. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bathes were great and staff were very friendly. Wasn't sure how to order food at the cafe but other than that it was excellent.

    I would recommend if you are only staying to relax and enjoy the onsen. It is not for people with tattoos and not convenient to leave the hotel and come back in, like for sightseeing travelers.

    There really is too much I can say. Having to put my wet cycling shoes in a tiny locker so was unable to dry them. Then I had to sit at reception and wasn't allowed to go to the room until they had stuck a plaster over my time tattoo behind my ear. Instead of letting me do it they made me sit on a chair in the middle of the reception and the receptionist put the plaster on! They wouldn't let me go to my room until this had been done. Just as an aside I stayed at 32 different hotels including a number of Ryokan and no of them asked me to do this. I could go on.....the list seems endless...
