    Still the same place as before. Very traditional Japanese hostel. Ryo is very accommodating to the guests and it feels like a second home when it’s dinner time with everyone else cooking their meals. Big space for the room, perfect place to stay if you’re staying for a long time. Only downside is it’s far from the slope but there’s free shuttle in the morning at 8am or 9am.

    I've been in countless hostels over the years, but Tabi is head and shoulders above the rest! Ryo-san puts such care into all aspects to make Tabi feel like a home. I could gush on and on but in short: impeccable facilities, close enough to the mountain to be convenient but far away enough from the tourist bustle, true connections with everyone fostered by Ryo-san, and so much more made me sad to leave but that much more excited for the day I can come back to Tabi!
