    I went onto Agoda site and then onto Albergo hotel San Marco in Venice and booked a room . When I received my confirmation I immediately saw that it was wrong . My confirmation stated 3 bedroom apartment which I never booked . I tried for more than 7days trying to contact Agoda , trying talk to somebody to get them to understand the booking was wrong . I then contacted the hotel and they confirmed that they had never received a booking in my name with my confirmation number and they also confirmed that they did not have any apartments they rented . Still getting nowhere with Agoda I went to the flat where the entrance was dirty , the flat had 5 stair cases to climb with luggage , I had told them I was 80 . There was only 1 airconditioner which was on the steps going to the bathroom and it could not cool the bedroom in was more than 30 degrees . You had to go up a flight of stairs to the bathroom at night. We stayed in the flat for the first night and then left and booked into the Albergo San Marina hotel which was fantastic , but we had to now pay for accommodation we had already paid for . Also when we asked the agent that opened the flat for us to show our booking confirmation , she showed us the confirmation from *** who do no business with because of a problem with them previously . They hotel confirmed that the pictures on Agodas site were not pictures they had given them, they had taken pictures other sites and then put them on their site and the hotel was not not business with a or *** because of these problem . On the 17th April I did my booking and then only on the 19th May they sent me a mail saying I must pay 117 Euros for cleaning & Service fee & tax which was told to me with my booking I have travelled for 50years and this is the worst experience I have ever had . Agoda & *** are doing these bad , wrong and maybe fraudulent things to people and it need s to be stopped . I will book with these companies again . Horrible Experience
