    Thank you Nicole and Valerie for facilitating my call to an airline to change my flight. They let me use the front desk phone. I intentionally booked a night prior to my early morning departure to use the remaining hours before check out to rest as I had a red eye flight from IAD to SJO. Instead, they marked me as no-show and did not charge me for the night. Thank you, Hotel Colonial.

    Here's my overall ratings Location ⭐⭐ close to many things but many homeless in the area. Noise Level ⭐⭐ road noise and nearby sounds and you can hear everything due to rooms not having good sound barriers. Was awoken at 5 am due to banging construction noise on the other side of the wall in my room. Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice but don't speak English makes it difficult to request or ask for things. Security ⭐⭐⭐ good but you have to be buzzed in at night. Not ideal Privacy ⭐⭐ cannot have friends or family visit in rooms. Like a communist approach to lodging Value ⭐⭐⭐. Does include breakfast in morning. Pretty basic foods and coffee Room ⭐⭐⭐ spacious and big bed in suite but it's not a suite. It's a basic room. Overall ⭐⭐. 2.5 stars

    Lacking amenities. Thin walls. No fridge in room. No face clothes, no cups. Bed made incorrectly. Super loud train whistle goes off repeatedly on the hour begging at 4am.
