    We stayed for 2 nights. Wonderful location walking distance to everything. The drawback is that there is no air conditioning. We were provided 1 fan, but was still hot. Staff was great and breakfast was delicious.

    The building was beautiful and the staff helpful. But, you hear EVERYONE AND Every NOise THERE WAS. Crazy lunatic above us was yelling in another language. I heard someone trying to get him to leave. the night guy acted like he hadn’t heard a thing . He followed me toward our room and said oh he was upstairs and he was having trouble with his room, so he was moving him to another . That sounded like BS to me. The curtain beside the bed with the window that opened out… wouldn’t close but half way. I felt exposed with that, as the across the way neighbor could just look at us in the bed. I made it work. We could hear that tenant flush the toilet, run the shower. It was quite ridiculous and would not give this quaint hotel any recommendation at all. The Ad…phew…sold it to me and I was so excited but became disappointed and frustrated at all the road noise . a staff member stated oh that train only comes by here 3 or 4 times……maybe he was misleading us because that train came more than that by the time we were trying to sleep.

    My number one hotel to stay overnight when connecting flights. It is worth every penny with a delicious breakfast included. Its cleanliness, and location is what makes me chose it everytime.

    The hotel itself is ordinary, simple, old-fashioned, and without any frills. However, its staff, unfortunately, can ruin any stay. Judging by how they handle guests at the reception, it seems like the employees here are uneducated and deeply dissatisfied with life. During check-in, the receptionist rudely insisted that our room was not paid for, even though she failed to charge the amount from the credit card provided in the booking. When asked why she couldn't do it, she simply replied, "I don't know." In the end, she completely exhausted the guests' patience before finally managing to process the transaction half an hour later. This same receptionist was just as unwelcoming and rude during our last stay a month ago. Moreover, many reviews mention the same issue, yet the hotel management does not seem to care at all. This is the clearest sign that the hotel is run by unprofessional people. I’m not even mentioning the fact that the staff ignores emails, only responding after you write to them three times. Fleur de Lys Hotel is not recommended for accommodation.
