I’m giving this rental 3 stars because it did not match the impression given in the listing photos. The home looked much newer and more updated online than it actually was in person. It felt dated, worn, and not as well maintained as advertised.When we arrived, the house was not properly set up for guests. I had to move eight dining chairs from inside to the outdoor patio table and also unstack and arrange four heavy lounge chairs with cushions myself. For the price paid, that should have already been done.There were also several issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The air fryer was dirty when we arrived, there were folded dirty towels in the main bathroom, and some dishes in the cabinets were not clean. The sink drying rack was rusty, the pantry was messy with open food left inside, and the games were disorganized and unusable because pieces were missing.The blinds were broken and could not be opened properly, making the house feel dark. The sliding doors were old and difficult to use. The outdoor table looked very worn and unstable.The owner also controlled things remotely, especially the pool temperature, which made the stay feel uncomfortable. I was told the pool was at a certain temperature, but my own thermometer read lower, and it did not feel properly heated on colder days.Overall, the owner needs to take more pride in the property, update the listing photos, and make sure the home is truly guest-ready before arrival.
