Views from the cottage were lovely, great kitchen with everything provided, comfortable living room with log burner which was easy to use and made the room nice & cosy in the evening.
Shower very good.
Proximity to walks & local pub The Ship were excellent, good parking spot outside the cottage door.
Felt safe, secure & at home.
The road is busy & noisy especially in the front bedroom, also had to be very careful of our dog as no enclosed garden so had to be vigilant with the opening & closing of doors.
Beds are very soft, master bed especially, also very squeaky!
There was a patch of black mold along the top of the window in the master bedroom, probably caused by condensation which needs attention.
Feel we have to raise these points, however in no way did they spoil our stay, infact we have booked in for a week in June for which we are really looking forward to. 😀

Perfect location for our weekend away. We loved the log burner and the pub over the road was nice too.

The house was cosy and comfortable and the view of the lake is lovely. There was plenty of walks for us right from the doorstep which was perfect and Coniston itself has plenty of places to eat and drink and is only a 15 minute walk to most of them. There are regular buses every day to Ambleside (where you can get connecting buses) from the village, which was very handy as we don't like to take the car out if we can help it when we're away 😊

De omgeving, Lake District is prachtig. gelegen kortbij een pub en niet te ver van het centrum
Klein, gelegen aan drukke weg. ‘s nachts lijkt het of ze je slaapkamer binnenrijden. Zeer slechte geluidsisolatie. Terrasje niet zoals op de foto…enkel een houten bankje. Het grote terras in aanbouw was ingenomen door gasten van het andere appartement
