Fantastic stay I loved this apartment

The location is perfect - less than 2mins walk to a nice swimming spot. You’re right in the old town but it’s still calm and peaceful (except on Friday nights). The apartment is very comfortable, and although there is no AC there is a fan and a nice breeze. I worked from the desk and the sofa every day. If you like wine, the shop and tastings are EXCEPTIONAL. Most of the wine tastings in ohrid are either overpriced homemade wine or inflexible and not very good selection. Victor is both an excellent host and an informed sommelier.

As other reviews have said, this is a historic building which has made installing a modern bathroom a challenge - everything works but the shower is very small. Not an issue for most but if you are bigger you may not fit.

We liked the apartment in general, but shower and toilet needs more space to be comfortable.

Excellent location, the apartment decorated to a good level, clean, tidy. Nice owner, friendly, good value for money. Winery downstairs where you can taste different wines.

They needed to have a mosquito net on at least one window we felt. Even though the quality of the bathroom was nicely done, it lacks space, which is important to have a shower in this case with a tiny space to do that in. I had to warn my husband about the hot tap in the shower because you are forced against it, the shower curtain stuck to you just to pick the bottle of soap from the floor. For larger sized people than us we feel this would not be adequate, even impossible to get in there behind the glass. This point needs to be sorted out. The wash basin however is fine, toilet crammed in the corner. Would be nice to have the option also for high or low pillows. We didn't use wifi ör kitchen there so we can't comment on those points.

10 out of 10 in the heart of the old town

The apartment is located very centrally in the old town, next to the Robevi's House museum, and is on the second floor of a house in a traditional architectural style. The hosts have been utterly kind and generous, providing me with a complimentary bottle of wine from their shop, and an extended check-out time. The apartment is a well-furnished studio with a 3-seater sofa, large bed, dining table with two chairs, a closet, and a large TV. The kitchenette is well-equipped with appliances, kitchen utensils, and the small space is very well used for everything one might need. The bathroom space is also quite smartly designed with enough space for a shower cabin, sink, toilet, and a small storage space under the sink. The apartment also has an air cooler/heater, useful for any season. The closet has clothes' hangers and fluffy slippers one may put on in cold winter days. The check-in also went very smoothly. Last but not least, the price was similar with many similar accommodation offers. This makes for a really pleasant experience staying at Patche Residence. A well-deserved max 10 out of 10! 😊

Excellent location and host very kind man ! Room was clean and comfortable with wonderful view to the lake and traditional Macedonia houses ! I really enjoyed my stay ! Downstairs for wine lovers you can buy and try traditional local wines .

Superb

The location is perfect, in the middle of Old town within walking distance to all attractions. Communication with Viktor was great, he was responsive and very helpful. The apartment is small (like any other apartment in the old town of Ohrid) but ideal for a short visit of 1 or 2 people.

There is no parking in the Old Center within the walls, the nearest parking is at the Upper Gate which is free for everyone. The hike up is quite hard during hot summer days if you need quick/often access to your car. Viktor was very helpful and drove me up/down from the Upper Gate so I did not have to carry my luggage on the cobblestone hills.

Fabulous studio apartment close to everything.

Great studio apartment. Perfect for two people. The building is old and historic. The location is perfect in the old part of town with the museum next door. The hosts are delightful and super helpful. Washing machine available. Enough kitchen to make dinner. Very recently renovated and refurbished. Parking in front of the building for our motorcycle. Felt very safe. Highly recommended.

As it's an older building the shower is quite small. The AC is a fan, but it's so close to the lake this was no issue for us.

The location is superb, a true beating heart of the Ohrid Old town. Right in the centre of the best rastaurants, next to the Museum and 2min of walking to the closest beach. Beautifully decorated modern appartment with wonderful and warm hosts. The owners have a wine shop in the basement so you can try local wines and enjoy the fresh evening air from the mountains.

Die Lage des historischen Gebäudes ist hervorragend. Das Appartement ist großzügig geschnitten mit einem bequemen Doppelbett, Sofa, Sitzecke und kleiner Küche und Bad. Genug Handtücher und Decken sind vorhanden. Wi-Fi ist tadellos und das große Flat-TV bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Der bezaubernde Weinkeller lädt zu leckeren und geschmackvollen Weinverköstigungen ein. Der Gastgeber ist gleichzeitig ein wunderbarer Sommelier. Der schöne See, traditionelle Restaurants sowie hippe Bars, alles ist in fußläufiger Nähe erreichbar.

Die Dusche ist ein bisschen klein.
