Villa Elena

Villa Elena offers very good value for the price. The location is convenient, around a 5-minute walk from both the Old Town and the city center, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The lake is also only about a 10-minute walk downhill, although walking back up requires a reasonable level of fitness. The owner was very kind and helpful. He does not speak English but speaks German, and he offered us a ride to the bus station for a fair price, similar to a taxi fare. The room was clean, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed.

The main downside is that the rooms are very small. With three beds in the room, there was barely enough space to move around. Some rooms also have bathrooms outside the room; fortunately, ours had a private bathroom inside, although it was also quite small. For such a low price, you get what you would reasonably expect. For one night, it was a good and practical stay.

"Being very close to the Skopje city center is a wonderful advantage. We didn't meet the guesthouse owner in person, but their guidance via WhatsApp was perfectly adequate and clear. You rent an apartment unit in a building as a guesthouse room. We stayed as 3 adults and 1 child; our room was very spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness was also excellent. For this price, it’s one of the best guesthouses you can find in the Skopje city center, I highly recommend it."

"The only thing we didn't like was that the guesthouse does not have its own private parking. However, we were lucky enough to find a parking spot nearby. Those traveling by car should keep this in mind and might want to park their vehicle before checking into the guesthouse."

Clean. Nice location.

This is not apartment or studio, it is triple room with shared kitchen. Outside patio is parking.
