We had a lovely week’s stay at Jubilee Cottage and would thoroughly recommend to people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jubilee Cottage despite having rain (and a thunderstorm!) a few of the days. The kitchen was well equipped and the sensor light in the bathroom to avoid the fan coming on (at night time) was well received! The beds were comfortable and the box of biscuits and Easter egg were a lovely touch 😊 The four TV’s were a luxury! The decor was of a good standard and the cottage was right in the centre of Dawlish, so all shops and cafés were easily accessible. When I emailed Emma to enquire if there were charging cables for the sensor light in the bathroom and bedside lights in the front bedroom, she ordered some from Amazon which arrived the following day 😊 Very efficient and courteous response.
After unpacking, we parked our car at my in-laws, which was a 15 minute walk away. This was due to double yellow lines on the road outside the cottage and very limited parking on the opposite side. In all fairness, Emma, the owner, did offer us a free parking permit at Barton Hill car park but we felt it was safer to leave our car in a residential area. A washing machine would have been handy instead of a dish washer (which we didn’t use!) Drawers or shelf space would have been handy instead of just hanging rails in the wardrobe in the front bedroom.

Everything about Jubilee Cottage was amazing & we will definitely be looking to stay again!
From the fresh cream tea & milk left in the fridge for us & the little hamper for us & our dog, everything about Jubilee Cottage was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed & more, the lounge was lovely & cosy, the bedrooms were decent sizes & nicely made up. Jubilee cottage was in a perfect position for all the shops in the main high street & less than a minute’s walk to several takeaway establishments.
