Quiet location. Contained heat very well.

Few problems over the course of stay but with easy fixes. Wish there was a little cover over the stairs leading to the living room area. Due to once it has rained the stairs cam be a little slippy.

Generally, this was a great find and we were very happy with our stay. The property is clean, modern and well laid out - the size of the rooms was a real unexpected bonus - as often accommodation of this type can feel cramped. We also loved the hot tub, which was the main reason for booking.....but the rest of the accommodation really made it even better. We'd more than happily return another time if we come back to the area.

Would definitely love to stay again, but perhaps for even longer!

It was in a really peaceful location, so quiet and relaxing. Don’t think we saw another human while we were there. Bed was really comfy, had some super good sleep. Waking up to the chickens everyday was super cute, I loved watching them peck around outside (they weren’t noisy whatsoever!)

The apartment bedroom being above the garage doors meant that when they were opened one morning it woke us up with a fright because they are super loud and can be heard really clearly from in bed, but it only lasted a few seconds and wasn’t a big deal. Not enough to stop us wanting to come back.

Fabulous find

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. No complaints at all. David was friendly and helpful, even gave us freshly laid eggs from his chickens. Quiet, clean with comfy beds and everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay. Close enough to be in the middle of everything if you wanted but far enough for peace and quiet.

Owners were lovely and polite and there to answer all questions super quickly. If I ever visited again me and my family agree we would definitely stay here again.

Location was a 10 minute drive within closest beach, big supermarket, main town, the raceway, fantasy island it was perfect! The apartment was so modern and absolutely spotless, it had everything you could possibly need an apartment to have for a short stay. The whole site was lovely and laid out so nicely, really easy to find and access and nice and private with some lovely views from all directions!

Just personal opinion/suggestion.. maybe have a nice big parasol over the hot tub, stop direct sunlight on children and blocks the apartment "above the hottub",from over looking you, adding some privacy

Beks Abode :)

This place is a real gem! We stayed in Beks Abode with hot tub, which was beautiful and clean. The hosts are lovely, the surrounding countryside is stunning and really quiet. We didn't hear the chickens on this stay, but returned with my partner 28-30 June, and they were very lively, which was lovely to hear... we were also given some chicken eggs on arrival.

We didn't like leaving... can't wait to come back, Thanks David, Martyne and Hannah for a lovely, well thought out stay :) x

Beks Abode (return trip)

Visited on 2 separate weekends once with my 2 daughters and once with my partner. Both times were incredible. This is such a lovely place, we came here twice this year. It feels very homely and has everything you need for an excellent self catering weekend away. (See my other 10/10 feedback rating for Beks Abode :)

Exceeds Expectations

A very nice, clean and modern place to stay for a short (or longer) break. It was well suited to the three of us with good space and facilities. There was easy parking and the staff would go the extra mile to make sure everything was OK. The campsite and surrounding field were nice to have wander around.

Nothing, although there wasn't a great selection of glassware for drinks if you wanted a beer.

One phone call and the owner arrived immediately The apartment was large and very warm , beautiful bathroom and kitchen Very clean with everything you need for a great stay Quiet and peaceful with lovely walks around the grounds

The apartment was beautiful with enclosed outside space with amazing hot tub . Very well laid out , comfy bed with wonderful bedding and soft towels . The owners were lovely and very helpful. The only issue was the lounge sofas were a little low and too soft for us but that was a personal view , and it wouldn’t put us off booking again

Immaculately clean, decor was very high end, no expense spared. Everything that we needed was there. Despite our last minute booking due to being let down the owners were very helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful peaceful clean 5 star

We loved the Hot Tub and the free Wifi was a bonus for the kids to enjoy Netflix’s and play on their Ps5 . We felt like we were at home. David gave us some free range eggs on arrival which we enjoyed for breakfast. I requested an iron which was kindly provided by the host along with an ironing board. The bathroom is very spacious, toiletries are provided. Bedrooms are very clean and comfy although my teenager boys complained about the single beds mattresses being a little hard. I enjoyed my sleep. The location is perfect peace and quiet and just a drive away to the beach and the local shops. We enjoyed an Indian halal takeaway in the garden. We didn’t use the bbq although it was available to use. We would definitely come back again. I posted a lot of photos on my social media of our stay which attracted many people to pay a positive interest. I would highly recommend staying here with or without children, it’s perfect for families.

I just appreciate if a washing machine and a hairdryer was provided. I know it’s not something that is listed with the property but i would have benefited from washing all the sandy clothes from the beach before coming home. Apart from that i think all the needs were met, i just hate coming back from holiday with a load of washing to do. Lol. And as for a hairdryer I suppose i could have brought my own along.

Location was perfect nice and quiet. Was perfect distance between Ingoldmells and Skegness. The welcome pack gave us great information about local pharmacy (which we needed to use) emergency contacts, take aways. Also had a leaflet about Mablethorpe which we did visit for the day. Great to be able to use hot tub when we wanted to. Knowing it got cleaned every morning too was great. Stock car racing near by fun for all the family and kids go free (check the website to confirm dates) (pictures included below)
