Aleenas homestay

A super quiet and safe place for solo travelers. The host and her family are wonderful, kind and polite people. They genuinely care about their guests and offer traditional breakfasts, dinners, snacks, and tea. You can also book different activities around Kochi through them. They helped me arrange a sunrise kayaking trip, woke up early with me, and made sure I was picked up from their place. My room was cleaned every couple of days and was always spotless. The Wi-Fi was stable and reliable, which was especially important for me as I work remotely. And as a little bonus, you can refill your water bottle there — a small but very thoughtful touch. Highly recommend! 🤍

Hospitality, food provided with is very nice, landlord is noble .

I'm not very good at English and I'm not used to traveling alone, but I felt very safe and relaxed. Everyone was very kind, and the breakfast was delicious! I didn't feel anxious at all during my stay.

The couple who own and run the place are warm and helpful. They cook for their guests with care and I relished the food they dished up. Their breakfast was lavish and fresh. We guests had a good conversation at their table. Their children were fun to chat with. My bedroom was small but clean and I felt comfortable in it. And -- I could walk from the quiet lane their home is in to all the Kochi Biennale events I wanted to attend. I will return to Aleena's soon... Cheers!
