We felt that we are living in our home. Lovely experience. First time we are here. Thank u Good karma Inn. Next time also we are going to stay here. I will recommend to my friends also.

Sharing a detailed review. Overall, stay was pleasant. The room we stayed in was on 1st floor beside the reception desk. It has a lot of potential - looked like it was in process of renovation being done with incomplete lighting and interior work in room and bathroom. Balcony wasn't very clean and stool was broken. The glasses provided in room were dirty. Filtered water was available to fill in common area. No help available for luggage. No elevator. Footwear to be taken off before reaching reception with no in-house footwear provided. The background wallpaper was beautiful. The space outside bathroom is big, currently having 3 large open shelves to keep luggage - that's a good concept & could be developed into a proper walk in closet or dress changing space with a mirror and some lights (right now it was all dark with make-shift curtain). The stand to hang dresses is a nice element. The windows and doors provided good lighting and blackout curtains worked - that's why we woke up late. Bed on one side made squeaky sound whenever I turned & had me worried for a bit but was okay. The checkin and checkout was hassle free & even though we booked after standard time & reached reception directly, they were quick to arrive & check us in. Keeping footwear separate is good for hygiene but disposable shoe-covers & slippers to wear when inside should then be provided. No complimentary bottled water but filtered water was provided and was fine. Definitely needs more lighting, and could use some more furniture. They had sconce light face bed which we turned to roof thereby increasing lighting in room otherwise lighting is very poor. They are not beautifully painted red as in photos but standard white, with painting work going on when we were leaving. AC was fine, enough charging stations, big spacious room, water pressure was good, balcony present and windows had wire mesh to keep mosquitoes out. Polite staff.

The reception was in touch with me on whatsapp before I reached the hotel, but ever since check in I never saw anyone at reception throughout my 2 days stay, there is no TV inside the room, no one gave me the WiFi password even though I asked them for it, they didn't even pick up my call, messages on whatsapp were ignored, all that just made it a very bad experience. Yes the Fort Kochi Beach is just 800 metres from this hotel, and a lot of restaurants are around, a lot of churches as well. Location isn't too bad. The towel they provided me was of very bad quality. And as I mentioned before, no TV, no wifi, no reception, everything else was okay.
