Really lovely property in a good location. We could walk through Shepton Mallet (which was ideally located for our purposes). The host is very professional, gave us lots of good advice about where to go to get what we needed. Bed very comfortable. Also the garden is a real treat, we sat in the evening sun in such peace. Breakfast was good.
Slight smell of damp in one room. The rooms and bathroom were very clean though, the towels and bed linen were fresh, so not much to complain about.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, we really loved the house and the garden is beautiful. The decor is so tasteful and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely too, we had a great veggie full English, and it was nice to chat to Alan too and meet other guests. Have already recommended to family and passed on a Maplestone booklet.

Loved the history and quaintness, our host Alan was very hospitable and gave us a fabulous breakfast. It was tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable.
I loved the property but location was not handy to find an evening meal. We compromised by buying tasty food from local shops to eat in Alan’s pretty garden .
