This accommodation was in a beautiful location with easy access to lovely walks around the Holme Valley trail. The size of the property was perfect for a long weekend for two, we were both really impressed with the property - very manageable and cosy.
The radio alarm came on at 6am on the first morning which we weren't expecting but other than that everything was excellent.

It really needs a queen size bed and the noisy bell that went off every hour was irritating, hard to park

Location was great for us and suited us on our trip plus facilities are walking distance from the cottage. Coop and restaurants ( tapas place was lovely ) and lovely cafe nearby

Quaint and cosy property with bags of history with a central village location, bonus with a nice pub in walking distance - as are shops, cafes and bars. Regular public transport - bus and train- close by if needed into Holmfirth and beyond.
Parking is challenging but to be expected in a village location. That said there is plenty of free parking close by.
