Great family location for the city centre

Clear and concise information provided by the hosts, simple number passcode for the doors so no need to worry about finding a key. The view overlooking Queens gardens is fantastic, get the early morning sun and the rooms get the afternoon sun. You couldn't ask for more when it comes to chilly Dunedin! Everything is nicely appointed and works as it should, easy kitchen to get around, dining room enabled 4 adults and 2 children to eat, large bedrooms and most importantly, it was nice and warm. Downstairs are 2 cafes, there is the pub the "duke of Wellington" just on the corner, you are a 3 minute walk to the casino and a 5 minute walk to the Octagon.

You have to pay for the drier, which given the rate of the apartment, thought it would be included. Be aware that due to the proximity to the main state highway one way roads, it can be a bit noisy over night due to traffic moving through Dunedin north to Christchurch or south to Invercargill. The apartment is on the second floor, no elevator. Whilst we didn't find this a problem, it may be an issue for people who have limited mobility. Parking can be problematic as you need to find daily parking, but if you are going out everyday its not an issue.
