St Ives Balcony Flat TreCar

Firstly, there were several things we really liked about the flat. It was lovely and well equipped, and the bedding and towels were clean. We appreciated the welcome touches and generally enjoyed our stay.

There were, however, a few things that I feel are worth mentioning. The shower head was broken, which was quite inconvenient, and the extractor fan wasn't working. There was a polite note asking guests to open the windows, but with the extractor not working this did make ventilation more difficult. Unfortunately, we also found the bed very uncomfortable. When I stripped the bed before leaving, I was concerned to see that the mattress was quite heavily stained. Given how uncomfortable the bed was, seeing the condition of the mattress was disappointing and something I think should be looked at. I also appreciate that the property needs to be cleaned between guests, but a 10am checkout following a 4pm check-in does feel quite early, particularly for a holiday stay. During our stay, when the other flat was being cleaned, there was also quite a lot of noise, and unfortunately there didn't seem to be much consideration for guests still staying within the building. Your pre-arrival email did make us aware that CCTV had been installed to cover the parking space, front door, entrance and stairway, so we were aware that CCTV was present. However, I couldn't see any CCTV signage in the entrance, stairs or landing.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Love the way the flat is decorated, it's got a really good vibe. Also the flat is in a really good position of the town, with parking which is a massive bonus in St Ives. Sitting on the balcony having a few drinks looking at the night sky was amazing experience. Also the sun rise early morning looking over Hayle is amazing too. This was the 3rd time me and my partner have stayed in St Ives, in 3 different properties. This flat was the best we have stayed in out of the 3. Would recommend 100% if you are considering staying here.

It had everything and more, lots of amenities and quite spacious for a studio. Loved the balcony overlooking the beach. Nicely decorated

It was tricky to find in the dark, spend 20mins looking. An extra sign would be helpful. The shower pressure was odd, couldn't get it hot without having to max out the pressure. Would prefer a comfier mattress.

We loved staying here, the apartment has everything you need, the sea view from the balcony, the comfortable bed, and all facilities needed to have an enjoyable stay. Everything was above expectation.
