Lovely cottage, very well appointed. Clean and comfortable. Owners had supplied milk, tea, homemade soda bread and apple tart, such a thoughtful treat. We arrived late and it was no issue.

We were welcomed with brown bread and freshly made apple tart, ideal place to stay with children so comfy, cozy and the orchard is so beautiful.

We really loved this Cottage.
We wanted a quiet relaxing break with green surroundings near a beach and that is what what we got.
The size was perfect for our 2 adult, teen and toddler family. There was books to read and tractors to play with, which my son loved. We didn’t want for anything as everything was there for use! I cooked a bit and had everything I needed, even oil that we didn’t think of bringing for the fried eggs.
The owners left us a homemade rhubarb apple tart and homemade brown bread. They even thought of the good butter for the brown bread and homemade jam.
Luckily for my teen the house has WiFi. We had access to a beautifully kept orchard that my son enjoyed running round and round. There’s a big gate to make it safe for young children.
You can tell straight away from arrival how well looked after the whole garden is.
Shower was always nice and hot!
And it was used a lot and never went cold.
What a location!! Hidden gem!!
The beach is just 15 minutes walk away.
The road down to the beach is quiet and safe for everyone walking. A few friendly locals were seen and will always wave and say hello.
The beach was so quiet, even on the hotter days.
We love some nice grub but we only managed to try The Village Chipper in Blackwater town, which is only a 5 minute drive from the cottage. They had everything from full Irish, chipper food and even excellent dinners you would think you could only get in a pub or cafe. On our last morning we sat down and had breakfast here. Everyone enjoyed the food!
The owners are genuinely friendly people and not far if we needed them. I felt comfortable enough to ask a question and ask for a lend of some crutches 😆

Situated in rural wexford, 5 minute drive to local village. The house is immaculate. Lovely lay out. Toys and books for kids to play with. Bread and tart ready to eat, milk, butter. Kitchen has everything. Beds are comfortable. Shower is hot. The main bedroom opens out into the garden. The orchard is beautiful. I literally relaxed the minute i went in the door. Lovely clean cot and high chair provided. Kids were so excited to see the house and books. The gates close in the garden, such a safe place for a 5 and 3 year old. Owners were lovely, professional. 5 minute drive to local beaches and 15 mins from curracloe beach. Lovely local pet farm in blackwater. Walked from raven point forest down onto curracloe beach. Just such a peaceful place.
Tv doesn't really work well, bad reception. But tbh we barely turned it on we were out in the garden so much and out in beautiful countryside.
