It was a resting, lovely time.

The location is great, right by the castle. I had a special request for breakfast which was totally satisfied, it was truly enjoyable. Maryse and Pascal were very kind, respectful of my desire for a quiet time.

Really good accommodation on our cycle ride from St Malo to Cherbourg

We really enjoyed our stay, we were sharing the suite with friends which worked well for us, Warm welcome after a hot cycle ride. Breakfast was delicious, great choice of food

Lovely stay! I felt at home, while being spoiled

What made this stay so special is that it felt like coming home but being spoiled at the same time. Dinner was made while we forgot to reserve it. After a day of sight seeing we were welcomed with drinks and little snack. Everything on the site is correct, but it is difficult to describe this service. While other spots were ok, this is a place I would love to return and will recommend it to anyone staying in that area.

A simply wonderful place to stay.

This is a gem of a chambre d’hote! The facilities are comfortable, clean and so well thought out - it is characterful, yet modern and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay (and a hot solo cyclist on EV4!). Saint Sauveur Le Vicomte is also a fascinating place! Maryse and Pascale (and Darling their lovely dog!) are the perfect hosts. They are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The Normandy dinner that Pascale cooked from local ingredients was amazing, as was the plentiful, fresh breakfast! Quite simply, this is a wonderful place to stay!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. A cold drink on arrival after cycling all day was really appreciated. The room was big, clean and had great amenities. The location is very central and ideal for seeing the town. Breakfast was amazing, a real treat to wake up to, wish we had dinner there too.

A true gem of an accommodation. Spacious, lovingly decorated with attention to the smallest details, on a premium location. Painstakingly clean and the hosts are among the friendliest we have ever met. The breakfast was excellent and so was the (optional) dinner.

Une adresse incontournable.

Nous avons fait une étape à vélo à Saint Sauveur le Vicomte . La chambre d'hôtes à la Maison 1949 se trouvait sur notre itinéraire vélo. Tout était parfait: La literie, la propreté, le calme. La chambre est très grande ainsi que la salle de bain. Tout a été aménagé avec goût. Ne pas hésiter à réserver la table d'hôtes pour goûter à la cuisine de Pascal (cuisinier à la retraite). Le repas était copieux et très bon, fait avec des produits de qualité. Pascal et Maryse ont l'art de recevoir. Et le petit déjeuner.... EXCELLENT (croissants faits maison, gâteau, coupe de fruits, yaourts, jambon,...).

Wat een Fantastisch verblijf. Wij hebben erg genoten van jullie gastvrijheid en wat zijn jullie lief . En jullie lieve Darling zit in ons hart wat een lief hondje. De Kamer is erg sfeervol ingericht erg fijn om hier te verblijven. En de heerlijke maaltijden van kok Pascal wat hebben wij heerlijk en goed gegeten. Nog nooit zo lekker gegeten. En wat is Maryse een lieve goede gastvrouw. Deze vakantie gaan wij nooit meer vergeten!
