Mondello Addaura Addisio Suite

Beautiful and serene apartment with a breath taking view of the ocean! Valentina was very kind and such a lovely host. We were given keys to a cute little private rock beach, which was perfect to escape the August summer crowds. Thank you so much for having us! We’d definitely book it again :)

A nice clean apartment with amazing breathtaking views. The host is very pleasant, provided us with chairs, umbrella and beach towels, sent us restaurant recommendations. The private beach (a couple of minute from the house) is very calm, isolated, especially in the morning - there's no one. It's absolutely beautiful. There's everything you need in the apartment for a short stay, amenities are new and clean. All kinds of restaurants, bars, beach clubs are close but you'll need a car. We ended up driving to remote more isolated beaches - the one in Mondello is nice and sandy but crowded, locals are not nice towards tourists, loud music everywhere.

The house is at the top of the hill, our car rental service gave us a bigger car than we expected and it was hard for us to drive up through the very narrow streets - we ended up parking on the road which was fine. Just be advised that it's a bit tricky. At the bottom of the hill, there's a night club with daily parties (we ate there on the first night and it was ok), it seems the whole town comes to this club and it gets very loud so you cannot open the windows at night. But it wasn't a problem for us, since it was really hot and we used AC most of the time. Since the house is kind of behind a cliff, there's absolutely no wind or chill there, we would love to enjoy the lovely terrace and views a bit more but it was impossible with extreme heat. Again, nothing to be done about that - just be informed. Also mind that you'll need beach shoes for this little private beach as it's quite tricky to get into water (large rocks) but you get used to it.

It was a very nice place, beautiful sea view, clean and tidy, the location is a bit far away, no local shops nearby but rather than that all was good:)
