Palazzo Balsamo Boutique Hotel

Everything!

Nothing was missed!

Elegant without being stuffy. Quiet and peaceful inside, while Palermo can be crazy

The hotel was upscale with modern furnishings and decor set in an older building. The breakfast was well prepared, fresh and the breads and juice excellent. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully quiet. The staff were excellent and helped with whatever issues we had ..we were particularly impressed with Davide who helped so much when we had a lost phone. They were also a great help in restaurant recommendations and obtaining reservations for us. The hotel is in walking distance to all the sights but at a slightly quieter section so very little street noise. The airconditioning worked well as long as you leave the card in the slot.

A small point but the bedside table in our room was set behind the bed so you couldn't comfortable reach for water in the night etc. Also, there was some confusion about the water provided in the room. There was some in the minibar for a fee. When we asked for water we either got a bottle given to us, once was charged to our room, and another time it was clear they were putting tap water in glass bottles. I don't mind which, but there seemed no consistency. It was like they didn't have it as part of the routine.

Upon entry we were greeted with a smile. Davide was very helpful and understanding. The room was excellent and the location of the property perfect.

Not much really.
