The views and location.
There was no restroom on the main floor.

Right on the beach, beautiful setting. It was pretty cold, but we were there in November. There was easy access to the beach, and the constant sound of the seashore lulled us to sleep. Great views from inside. Wifi worked perfectly.
The latch on the dryer was broken, the big oven didn't work. That was the biggest issue. We rented this place specifically for Thanksgiving, but the oven doesn't work. We should have been told that up front. Other than those issues it was a great stay.

Great location
The rail going up the stairs was broken. The electric blinds in master bedrooms and bathrooms didn’t work. The pedestal sink upstairs was loose. The basement smelled like mildew.

Likes:
beautiful stove and nice living room furniture.
Dislikes:
Pictures are a little deceptive. Rooms are small and there is only one en suite bathroom and only one bedroom with a view.
Deck railing in front is falling off on the left side top as your coming in.
The wi fi per the instructions is wrong.
The pillows are old and smell.
The bedding does not provide for cleanliness as the coverlet cannot be washed for every new guest as it’s heavy (I would suggest zippered duvets for hygiene over bed coverings/ comforters )
The rooms have double beds and are too small for couples to sleep comfortably.
The beds sag and need to be upgraded.
The location does not allow for access to beach. It sits 100 feet over the beach and this was not observable per pictures and should have been disclosed.
The deck is old and crusty with heavily used dilapidated furniture.
The windows and etched and foggy from the salt and have to be refinished or properly maintained.
Sea gull poop all over windows.
The fireplace does not appear to be per code per my opinion . It appears to be a burner and not a gas conversion. It puts off gas into the house even on low and the fumes travel to the upstairs.
There should be a note the the stairs are very steep as well.
