Cute little apartment in the center of venice. The location and space in the apartment was great. The person who checked us in was extremely nice, helpful, and provided many valuable suggestions. They let me check in early (13:45 instead of 15:00).

The apartment was moderately dirty. We did ask to check-in early, so unsure if that attributed - but it did not seem like it did. There was an incredible amount of dust (a layer formed on phone overnight), backsplash was dirty, last tenants socks were left, SO MANY FUZZIES that stick to everything, and cleaning supplies were left out. It was livable, but as a super clean person it bothered me. The towels shed like crazy. The thermostat was another minor issue. It cannot be controlled in unit. We were told to ask for what temperature we wanted and they would remotely control it, which we asked for two days to turn down the temperature. On day 3 we were told the air conditioning cannot be turned on and that we can open a window (at check-in they suggested we do not open windows because of all the mosquitoes). It wasn't unbearably hot at the end of April (24 Celsius, 75 Fahrenheit), but it was enough to make you sweat a bit when sleeping. Oh and its on the 4th floor with narrow stairs, but that's not uncommon in Europe. The first floor you walk in on has chunks of wall coming off, but after that it's very nice.
