Great view

The hotel is located on the coastal street with direct access to the beach. There are many restaurants and shops around. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a small kitchenette. The view from the terrace was magnificent. We visited Paralia Katerinis outside the high season and it was very peaceful and quiet. Check in and check out were very quick and easy. We received messages with very precise instructions. We will visit it again on occasion.

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Galaxias, i knew I had made the right choice! Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations – from the luxurious renovated rooms to the exceptional service and perfect location. The first-floor renovated suites are absolutely stunning – spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, with high-end finishes and elegant details. The king-size beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the bathrooms feel like those of a 5-star resort. I especially loved the junior suites with sea views – waking up and enjoying my morning coffee while overlooking the Aegean was unforgettable. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Paralia Katerini, just steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet enough to relax. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and comfort. The service was truly exceptional. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I need. They made me feel welcome from the very first moment, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Another highlight is the hotel’s attention to detail. From the cleanliness to the thoughtful amenities, everything is perfectly maintained. Free Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, parking is easy, 200 meters away from the property and also free, and the whole property feels safe and family-friendly. Overall, Hotel Galaxias offers the best value for money in Paralia Katerini. Whether you choose one of the stunning new luxury rooms or a cozy standard room, you know exactly what you’re paying for – comfort, quality, and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Paralia Katerini – this hotel truly sets the standard for hospitality in the area.

Minor inconvenience is the LED lights from the room's safety system and from the mirror display of temperature & time, I had to cover those for a better sleeping experience, as I am very light sensitive to lightning during the night, can easily be fixed though

A True Gem!! What a pleasant surprise!!

I don't often make reviews, but this place is absolutely worth it! We were staying at a hotel nearby, this one which was far more expensive than hotel Galaxias, I won't name it, where everything seemingly was "deluxe" and "suite" and all that, pictures seemed great, but the place was just cheaply decorated, no quality, just pictures. Then, I moved to Galaxias for an extra night that we needed, and to my big surprise, this place was the exact opposite of the previous one!! For a much lower price in Galaxias, we got a room with a KING size bed, an enormous bathroom, and even the smallest details in there just felt expensive and of the highest quality! There's 100% soundproofing, furniture just feels amazing and new, the bathroom was huge in size, and everything in it was sparkling clean, new and of the highest quality I could ever imagine! I haven't ever stayed in a hotel or apartment with a bathroom of such quality, 5 stars hotels that I stayed in the past had way lower standards bathrooms than this one! Everything was very far above typical Greek standards!! I will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

- a beautiful hotel, on the beach, with spacious, bright rooms, equipped with everything we needed, at a very good price - the balcony overlooking the sea waves was wonderful - the owner is extremely kind and helped us with everything we needed - there is free parking just 5 minutes walk from the hotel Thank you very much for the beautiful experience!

Decent but could be better

The location is okay, the hotel is decent for the price. Mostly clean and the balconies are nice. If you get the sea view, you will have a much nicer experience than if you get city view.

It looks better in the photos for sure. Our room was underwhelming and there were some offputting details. Taking a shower was difficult as the hot water kept getting cold. The shower head was damaged and it couldn't be fixed on the wall. The room was placed near the stairwell and it was very noisy when people passed.

Very nice place

Location is great, right on the beach, in the center of Paralia Katerini. The family apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The balcony was huge with a sea view. The rooms have shutters helping reduce the noise and light.

Some equipment wasn’t functioning (hairdryer), but it was not a problem for us. The power outlets are placed in weird locations. One day before checkout we got messaged we have to leave at 8 am, but nobody came to enforce that; still a bit unpleasant.

Perfect location with marvellous sea view in the center of Paralia

The location is just truly perfect!! The balcony with the sea view is outstanding! Also, the hotel is located on the first line in Paralia - the most lively street with lots of shops and cafes. The staff is also very nice and helping.

Be prepared that the internet connection may not reach some rooms. We had the corner room on the 1st floor, and hotel WiFi was not good there. We were provided with a couple of other WiFi options, but none of them were as stable and good as the main one. So for zoom calls I needed to go in the corridor where the hotel WiFi was good.
