Nice view but won’t be returning

It had a nice view outside. The beds were comfortable.

All the dishes were sticky as you are relying on previous occupiers to clean them properly - they clearly did not. The property is 20 min walk up the hill from Bourton so not really suitable for walking with small children. Flat was covered in warning messages about various things which was annoying and ugly. The furnishings could also do with an upgrade. There were so many of them (most unnecessary) there was barely any space to put a suitcase. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. We tried to contact the property about fans twice during our stay via booking.com but never got a response as the flat is managed by a property management company and you need to contact the owner separately on a uk number which you won’t be able to do if you are comming from the overseas.

Quiet location and great views.

Lovely views, clean and quiet. Bird feeders attracted pheasants and wild birds

Signs everywhere apologizing that the water might not be hot enough for showers if people upstairs had a bath and we would have to wait a couple of hours. 3 of us were only able to have a lukewarm shower the entire time, even when we tried different times of the day. Owners need to do something about that. Lukewarm showers are not acceptable.

Lovely apartment, lively environment, really a great Cotswold village atosphere

Very well appointed ground floor apartment with lovely view down the valley. Nice kitchen facilities and lounge area. Pheasanrs Partridges, Muntjac and many finches outside the big front window in the morning

In the Cotswold but not in the mad crowds of Bourton on the Water

The perfect view to unwind.

Superb location, the view over the valley is stunning, not to mention the wildlife that can be seen. We saw many birds, including red kites. We even saw a monkjak deer. A fabulous location to relax and unwind. Ten minute walk into Bourton on the Water. The owner Roy, is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back.

perfect getaway spot for anyone wanting to explore the Cotswolds by car

The property itself is a bit eclectic, with a mixture of buildings and storage containers on the lot. However, the rental unit itself is at the bottom of the property driveway and has a beautiful vista from its front window of rolling paddocks and pasture land. Because the unit faces away from the rest of the property and the entire graveled area in front of it is only for the designated use of this particular rental, it feels very private and inviting. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the sofa, and having an obstructed view of the greenery and pasture directly out the front of the flat. an added bonus is that Roy and Sue have wild birds feeding directly in front of the fields, which, for nature, lovers and birdwatchers, will invariably please anyone renting this unit. We woke up daily to the sound of wildlife

nothing that we didn’t particularly like - we were very happy with it. Just outside of town by maybe a half mile at most, it’s only a two minute drive down the hill and into the center of town - far enough away to keep away from all the tourists and noise.

Geweldig uitzicht, rustpunt in de drukke Cotswolds

We hebben dit huisje geboekt vanwege het mooie uitzicht en we zijn niet teleurgesteld. Vanaf de bank zie je de hertjes, patrijzen, fazanten, putters, spechten, roofvogels etc voorbij komen. Eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke mensen.

Met een baby is het eigenlijk niet mogelijk om naar het centrum van Bourton toe te lopen. Hierdoor moet je helaas wel met de auto parkeren in het drukke centrum. Omdat het slechts 2 minuten rijden is kan je er wel vroeg zijn, voor de drukte om 10.00 losbarst.
