Town: Llanerchymedd, a former market town in the heart of picturesque Anglesey, serves as a gateway to some of the island's best beaches. More than 250 cobblers lived in Llanerchymedd, and there were numerous corn mills to supply the cobblers with food as well as traders at the market. In addition to the old station cafe and two village pubs serving food, there is a small village shop, chip shop, and launderette to meet your basic needs. Llyn Cefni and Llyn Alaw's freshwater reservoirs offer a circular walk and numerous country trails. Picnics and walks in nature can be had nearby at Mynydd Bodafon Mountain. Benllech and Moelfre are the closest coastal villages. As a small fishing village in Wales, Moelfre has a beautiful sandy beach, a working lifeboat station and two top-notch pubs. Benllech, Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and abundant birdlife, are just a short drive away. There are a plethora of dining options in and around these neighbourhoods. You can easily explore the island and Snowdonia National Park from this convenient location.
