Great location for the coast and easy access to Trearddur beach and facilities.it was amazingly clean and very well kitted out. We really appreciated the milk in the fridge , tea coffee and biscuits, the Welsh cakes were delicious !

Just one small point- we couldn’t find any dishwasher tablets which was puzzling as everything else was provided.

It’s a beautiful house in a fabulous location, just a two minute walk to the beach. The decor is lovely, really comfortable beds and it’s very spacious. On the whole, all the furnishings were of a really high quality. Loved the rainfall shower! Enclosed garden so perfect for the dog.

There were a few housekeeping issues - just minor niggles for me but worth mentioning for others. The TV didn’t work and neither did the kettle or toaster. Boiling water on the hob and cooking toast under the grill was fine but a bit of a faff! The hot water tap in the kitchen also doesn’t work (which is noted in the welcome pack) but the other tap doesn’t give hot water as stated - so again, needed to boil water on the hob. Instructions for the shower would be useful as it’s operated by remote control and couldn’t work out how to turn it off. The shower was incredible though - just conscious of wasting water. Finally, I wasn’t a fan of the sofa and chairs in the lounge at all - they are very uncomfortable and think they’re outdoor furniture (Kettler) and not intended for lounging. They felt at odds with the other lovely furniture elsewhere in the property so couldn’t quite work out why these were here. As a result, we spent more time upstairs in the bedroom! All in all, it’s a really lovely property and just a shame it’s managed by Sykes Cottages (with their appalling customer service) as otherwise, would have been happy to raise these minor issues with the owner to try and get them resolved.
