Bethan Apartment

The location was good and there was plenty of choice of restaurants nearby. It was easy to get the keys from the lockbox. The kitchen was well equipped. I liked the fact that there was a welcome bottle of wine and that the basic items such as foil, a tea towel and hand towel, washing up liquid and hand wash, etc. were provided. The property was clean and tidy and the lighting was good, as was the view over the bay. The furniture was comfortable. The telescope was a lovely touch as was the CD player and the fire. Both bathrooms were clean and tidy, as were the bedrooms. There were things that could do with attention, but overall the apartment was more than satisfactory and I would book it again.

None of us could get the TV to work even though we entered the correct password, although that wasn't a big issue. The feet on the portable fire in the lounge dropped off when we tried to move & use it to heat up the room, which was cold when we arrived. (as were the bedrooms). We had not realised at that point, that the small electric fire which lit up, actually gave out heat when switched to the correct setting! It heated the lounge well. The storage heaters appeared not to work at all. The window sill area in the double ensuite bedroom didn't look very loved or clean & could do with updating. The beds were basic and the pillows not very comfortable. The throw was useful as it was cold the first night. The shower in the ensuite leaked onto the bathroom floor & soaked the bath mat, but I found the mop. The bathroom flush in the family bathroom stopped working and had to be flushed using pans of water. Extra loo paper would have been welcome.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bethan apartment. It was well equipped and a lovely bottle of wine left for us. Great location and comfortable beds. Beautiful views from the living room and master bedroom. Loved the dvds, books and games that were in the apartment.

The front door stuck a lot and was tricky. It was difficult to find also. Pool was expensive to hire for the hour, this wasn’t explained properly when booking. I had to seek further advice as the links in the email were not working. Would have been nice to use. WiFi was a bit patchy. We connected but kept dropping out. Fridge was small considering it sleeps up to 5 people.

Good location - a short walk from the main beach so peaceful but restaurants, bars and beach still within easy reach. Good walks from property.

Overall description of apartment is that it is tired and in need of updating
