The place had everything we needed. Clean, tidy and cozy. Would highly recommend

Location was perfect. Small village with a couple shops and a Co op 2 minutes down the road. Great trails around perfect for hikers. Also a lovely view from the bedroom window.

Maybe a lock on the bathroom however not the end of the world.

Very cosy and peaceful stay

Very peaceful down a quiet lane, beautiful views. The brook runs through the village which is lovely. House itself is small but has everything you need. My absolute favourite thing was the underfloor heating downstairs! It just made the house so cosy and warm. Beds were super comfy and loved the big kitchen table which fit our family of 6 on with loads of room to spare. Village itself is very quiet but pretty. Couple of parks which we took the kids to, one with a little cafe which was lovely. Would imagine there are lots of amazing walks in the area but with our small children we didn’t get the chance to explore much. Used the little Co-op for food which was only a 5 minute walk away and also tried the chippy which was great!

Nothing, although the gate to the property and the lane to get to it might be a bit difficult to use during bad weather.

The location is excellent. Walks straight from the cottage. No need to use the car. Lovely village too. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need.

Couldn't open the window wide enough in the bedroom at night to let fresh air in due to the security cable. The bathroom door needs a bit of it. It's a little tight. A lock on it would be good as well.

Brilliant.

Brilliant location. Everything you could need in the cottage. Comfortably slept our family of 7. Lovely views and plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Super hosts. Absolutely loved our stay here. We will definitely be back.

Peace and tranquility

The property was lovey, nicely decorated and cosy. The location was perfect, beautiful scenery and peaceful. The beds were really comfy. The kitchen had everything needed.

There was a sewage smell that was very pungent on the first night.

Good for a long weekend stay

Beautiful location, beds pretty comfortable, good water pressure on the shower

It could sleep 8 but there's only one small bathroom. There's parking for 2 cars but it's at the end of a very potted farm track and it's awkward getting them in or out. Any additional cars need to be parked in the village but we found that quite tricky to find somewhere to park.

Great location, great barn. really nice place to stay with links to a lot of the peaks

couldn’t control the heating and it was really hot the whole weekend. not enough general amenities like bin bags, salt pepper etc…

The location of the cottage was perfect, secluded and private. Clean and tidy rooms with good facilities. Kitchen and living room was spacious with heated floor.

Maybe be an extra toilet for a large group would have been cherry on the top. But other than that no complains happy and satisfied with everything.

Beautiful location surrounded by nature. The barn is converted well and functions well. Outside space nice in good weather. Lovely views
