Outstanding hospitality at the Gynack Villa

We had a wonderful stay at the Gynack Villa. The host was extremly friendly and helpful. Due to the friendlyness of the whole family, we felt at home from the moment we entered the Gynack Villa. Everything was clean and really nice. Kingussie is a lovely little town and great for hiking. You can find several places to have dinner or breakfast nearby the Gynack Villa.

Very comfortable

The room was very well presented. Clean. Bed was very comfortable. Normal amenities, like tea and coffee (& biscuits) and some very nice posh soap bars/ towels. You could tell that the hosts had an eye for detail and were keen to keep their guests happy as everything was well laid out. The host Shaun - I spoke to a few times and was accommodating and welcoming. Was a nice chap! Id recently took part in the ITERA adventure race in the Cairngorms - so was particularly tired. This room was a perfect.place to get a good night sleep. Shaun offered and did, give me a knock on the door 30 mins before my train was due in (which was a 2 minute walk away). If I am back in the area again hiking - I will be using this location again.

There was nothing I didn't like. This is more of a jokey addition in answer to "what didn't you like" because it's the tiniest of things that seemed missing from the room. I couldn't see any coasters to place a glass or cup and was concerned about staining their surfaces.. 😆😆🤣

Shaun was Glgreat host, very friendly and inviting. we booked this room 20mins prior to getting there at roughly 10.15pm so a bit short notice and late at night, however no grumbles from host met with a warm smile and a handshake, was offered tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms and place itself was very clean and tidy, very spacious rooms with a comfy sofa and kitchen table down stairs, beds were made with towels and soap at the foot of the bed, the bed was really comfy and spacious. The bedroom itself was very large.

Great location with everything you want straight outside the front within walking distance, inside the property was still very quiet though. The accommodation is spotless and tastefully decorated. The host was attentive and friendly.

Creaking floorboards! The house is very old and it’s impossible to sneak about without announcing your intentions. I tried several times to traverse from my bedroom to the front without causing a creak - got caught every time 🤣😂. It will keep the kids amused for hours!

A quiet and peaceful place to take a pause from the trials of traveling.

The building was wonderfully charming, and my room was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The host Shaun was friendly and was right there with anything that was needed, without being intruding. The location right in the heart of Kingussie it was within an easy stroll of the charming little town and a short drive to many of the prime sights of the Cairngorms.

I found everything to exceeded my expectations.

Perfect for our purposes. 😊

It was clean, warm and comfortable (those wonderful duvets!) and the owner Shaun was super friendly. He also extended check-out time for us after most people had had a late night at The Final Fling, which was very good of him.

I thought there would be shower gel, which wasn’t the case but it was ok. Also, the soap dish in the shower can’t be used as it’s at an angle and stuff just slides off. Perhaps another few hooks or similar in the room would be good to store stuff although we were ok once we discovered the under-bed drawers.

Was thoroughly impressed with the Gynack Villa, the room and bathroom were immaculate and the owner was welcoming and laid back. Spacious downstair areas to relax in. Very pleasant atmosphere and perfectly situated to close by immineties and the "Final Fling Gig" at The Dell. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a find to all. Paula
