Carpenters Cottage - The Lakes!

Parked the Car at the Cricket Ground for £2/day which we recommend

The Bed was rather small and the Room temps were high, a couple of windows we were not able to open to get air circulating

Very cool in the hot weather, lovely interior design and spacious bathroom!

Nothing to dislike

Fantastic location close to train shops restaurants and lovely walks

Clean and well appointed property with large bathroom. Beds were comfortable.

The wifi did not work and the owner was not able to help us fix the situation. There is no parking directly outside the property you need to be aware that the nearest parking is on a few streets nearby (but very few spaces) or at a cricket ground 5 mins walk away (£2/day). We were able to load And unload outside the property. The back yard is shared with other houses in the street and used by a neighbour for their dog and there was dog dirt in the yard when putting the bins out. We were asked if the owner could come to fix the wifi, lightbulb and heating but they never turned up And nothing changed during our stay.
