Near Todd - 3 Bed Home in a rural setting

Great location. Was easy to walk in to Kendal in minutes but views and setting made you feel you were away from things. Comfortable, clean, stylish, very well appointed property perfect for six of us. All the necessaries, also including rear patio, plenty hot water, good wifi.

There is one car parking spot, and a visitors spot that can be used for an hour as and when, shared with other properties. We were appropriately forewarned of this which made everything manageable and found a satisfactory place very nearby to leave our other vehicles. You should know this and will be informed so, but also know it was not a problem for us at all.

Near Todd was a stunning cottage just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Kendal, 20 minutes from Ambleside and 15 minutes from Windermere. There are some gorgeous walks on your doorstep and you're surrounded by the countryside. They provided thorough instructions for access. The cottage was exceptionally clean and spacious, they had thought of everything and provided all tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. We even had some lovely local brownies as a welcome gift. The beds were super comfy with crisp white bedding and they provided clean towels for all guests. The cottage is completely dog friendly with an enclosed back garden and they even provided a dog towel and bowls/treats. There were plenty of books and games if you were bringing children/family. We had a slight issue with the oven not working the first night but we messaged the owner who sent someone to look at it the next morning- within the hour they had replaced the whole oven! We will 100% be returning. Thankyou
