Luxury & Location! Bakewell Georgian Townhouse - 'The Haywood'

Great townhouse, spacious, beautifully decorated, parking was a bonus!

The bed was a little soft in the middle.

Loved this place, very stylish and tastefully decorated and clean the owner had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.

Unfortunately there was no curtain/blind in the living room/sofa bed room so it was incredibly light (with a street light right outside), and no bedding available in the property for the sofa bed. There is no door between the main bedroom on the top floor and living room downstairs so no privacy - so this property is better suited to solo or couple travellers. The host became increasingly defensive and unprofessional (and ultimately abusive - I was called “twisted” and a “liar” which was very shocking) when this feedback was provided privately and politely on request, which was very disappointing. If you read the hosts’ response to other negative reviews this is a clear pattern.
