Take-A-Break Islander on the Beach Villa - Vaimaanga

The location was amazing and close to shops. Beautiful view over the sea.

It was all very old and the seat outside (corner sofa) smelt of cat wee. All the towels had brown stains on them.

The location was magical, right on the beach, quiet, and with perfect coral out the front for snorkelling. The beds were very comfortable too!

It was really hard to find! No sign out the front. Had to walk on the beach to see which one it was.

The location was great, right on the beach and it was private from people walking along the beach. There was plenty of room for 2 people and it had a great selection of outdoor furniture. The outdoor tap was handy for washing off. It was perfect to be able to wake up in the morning and head down the stairs to the beautiful beach which had good depth for swimming and the snorkeling was excellent with a lot of fish. The internet was fast, there were spare blankets and the lights all worked.

The shower pressure could have been better. Although the location is great and it is right on the beach it did not get any sun inside the house, and very little on the deck at this time of year, as it is South facing. Light came in the bedroom window at night as there was no curtain to pull across the top window. The trees needed to be trimmed as they hit the house when the wind blew which caused noise throughout the night. The bed was a little worn out causing slight roll together.

The location of this property was great. Beautiful beach. Lovely large deck with lots of furniture and room to spread out. Beds were comfy. Easy to access from the road and key was waiting for us. Easy walk to Wigmores that had everything we needed.

We arrived at 3am and found that not all rooms had working lights. One bedroom had no plug even so we found an extension cord, plugged it into the lounge socket, mowed a rug to cover the cord and moved a lamp out of the lounge so the bedroom had a working light. The other bedroom had a lamp but the main light not working and nor did the small lounge area have a working light. We did tell the people that came to sweep the deck and they said someone would be there that afternoon or the next morning. This didn't happen. They turned up the day before we checked out. The outdoor shower didn't work at all but there was a tap to wash feet. The inside shower has incredible low pressure but do able.
