Nice stay

We had 2 rooms next to each other on 1st floor, nice rather small swimming pool which is good to cool off, many restaurants (e.g. Semina restaurant and The Global Village Foundation) nearby for breakfast, lunch, dinner. We did not visit Lovina too much as we only booked 1 night to split the distance to our next stop. Highly recommended to book a taxi upfront when travelling from harbour to Lovina. Drivers locally at the harbour almost stalk you for their taxi services, with fake Grab flyers. Our driver had to pay one of the others because the local one blamed him from stealing away customers, whereas we never agreed anything with that guy.

Great place to stay

Very Nice hôtel, central location, Nice pool, clean and spacious bedroom comfy bed ( even though a bit noisy since it’s made from bamboo, obviously not a big deal) large bathroom, cool terrace with garden view. Great staff. Totally a great value for money

Exceptional family Hotel

What a find! This little gem is so central to the Dolphin Statue on Lovina Beach. Hosted by a gorgeous local family. Friendly, happy staff, with very strict cleaning principles. With just 12 rooms, Chonos also provides a Massage Spa and Hairdressing salon. The whole accommodation area is back from the road, and sits amongst a beautiful garden, also hosting the best pool we used on our lap around Bali and a terrific pool table too. JL Binaria hosts heaps of Bars and Warung style restaurants and JL Mawar hosting similar choices. Lots of Massage choices too. Also close to an amazing Italian Restaurant – Tanda Pizza Restaurant – Italian owned and operated. Two great coffee shops – Leo’s (complete with French baked goods) and Coffeenosky – fantastic food and coffee with a supurb seating area right next to a rice field, and of course Dewi Warung just east of the hotel and opposite a Visa Agent who helped us extend our visas. Don’t let the price fool you, the rating on this establishment should be a 4. Well done Chonos crew.

Amazing dolphin tour available

- Near lovina beach (in walking distance) - Helpful staff - We booked a private dolphin tour at the hotel. The captain was very skilled, over 20 year in business and althou high season he knew how to attract the dolphins to our boat, I highly recommend the tour.

The aircon was quite noisy on low speed in the night. But we didn‘t need it and turned it off.

The location was good few minutes from the beach, some nice restaurants near by. The owner was nice and we could park our jeep there too. Bed was comfy. Didnt get to use the pool or spa facilities.

Hot shower and worth the money!

The hot shower is what makes you want to come here! Honestly the only place in asia where you can make a long hot shower and the water doesn’t finish. The place is also really clean and the swimming pool is like a 5 star resort. The staff is friendly and helps you at anytime! Is nice to stay here with all the family around, the kids are the best in this hotel! always ready to have a small talk with you.

Great place, just beware of mosquitos!

Everything was lovely. It also has a massage room which was very nice. And they arrange the boat trip to swim with the dolphins. It was truly perfect (sad that the mosquitoes ruined my night)!

This place is truly lovely, but when I entered the room there was at least 50 mosquitoes. It was a lot, like A LOT. I didn't sleep at all that night because I spent most of it trying to kill them all, or being awake by it. Just a quick mosquito spray before giving the room would have made my stay perfect.

Location was fine and the room was decent.

Bathroom wasn't great.. taps don't work well in the sinks, no proper hot water, water from the shower goes out and there isn't a drain so the water just stays. Staff was to organise a bike for us which wasn't done and we had to wait. Not the most friendly nor helpful staff. Spa wasn't very clean and quality of massage not great for the price.

Top locatie!

De locatie is top! Het zwembad is fijn al heb ik heel de vakantie last gehad van een stukje glas in mijn voet! (Opgelopen in het zwembad)

De waterdruk in de badkamer is erg slecht, ook zouden ze de badkamers wel eens mogen renoveren. Verder is het een fijne plek, ik kom hier al jaren!

Onhygiënisch verblijf

Bij binnenkomst in de kamer in de avond liepen de mieren over de gehele vloer, bedden en badkamer. De deuren sloten niet af, waardoor de airco aanstond maar de kamer niet afkoelde. Ook kwamen er hierdoor wespen naar binnen en gekko’s die zich in onze spullen hadden genesteld. Hiernaast was er een zeer sterke geur van schimmel aanwezig in de badkamer. Personeel sprak geen Engels, dus moest er telefonisch contact gelegd worden over de problemen. Na veel moeite mochten we een andere kamer bekijken, maar ook deze kamer was in dezelfde staat. Hierom besloten om hier niet te verblijven, personeel stond niet open voor compensatie.

Отель очень простой, но приятный. Все в зелени, приятный бассейн, отличное расположение. Также сходили в SPA, впечатления самые приятные. В общем, вполне себе цена-качество.

Замки на дверях вот-вот развалятся и кровать скрипит сильно. Но это никак не помешало нам, в целом, все нормально за те деньги, что мы заплатили.

Wij zijn prima ontvangen bij Cronos. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is hartstikke goed.

Locatie is goed. Op de hoek van een straatje met meerdere (eet)cafe's. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wij hadden last van een bali-belly toen we daar waren en de man van de bijbehorende tattoo-shop bracht ons naar een goede dokter zonder daarvoor geld te vragen. Zijn moeder heeft nog zachte rijst voor ons gekookt, echt super lief.

-De kamers zien er wat gedateerd uit. Wel schoon maar met een fris verfje zul je er heel anders tegenaan kijken. -In onze optiek te veel honden.
