Central View Point Apartment

The location was very central, within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants, the main area of town at the river, the park and there is a courtyard behind the building where in the summer time you can sit and listen to live music. The apartment is functional with space for a family and is clean (older style but clean) and suited us well for our 2-day stay. There was immediate and good communication by the host. The apartment was functional and suited our needs but with a bit of TLC and updating I think it could be a really great apartment but it was comfortable enough and a reasonable price for its location and it was a very busy time period in the city.

I didn't like receiving the notice after I had booked it that there was a fee for early/late check in (a fee for early check in I understand but the check in was 4pm which is rather late and check out was 10am which is a bit early). The supposed fee for late check in made no sense as check in / key pick up was by lock box. As we were travelling by train it stressed me out a bit that they said there would be a check in fee if we arrived late (after 8pm). As it turned out we arrived at 3pm so waited around a bit though probably could have just gone and got the key but we didn't want any issues. The instructions to check in and get to the apartment were extensive, but actually finding the apartment building entrance was a bit confusing (it is actually at the back of the building off of a courtyard but there was no mention in the details of this).
