We were disappointed that comments in the guest book had been ignored and impacted on our stay.
When we first walked in we thought wow, someone has taken a lot of time, trouble and effort to bring the property up to a high standard. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. When we read the guest book we thought people were just nit picking, sadly they were not. We got totally fed up of trying to get the bath plug out of the top floor bath, the shower attachment was unusable, on our last morning we were unable to get the bath plug out so had to leave the bath half full. The shower temperature control in the bedroom on the floor below was extremely stiff, we had to wrap a cloth around the control and really put some pressure on it to turn it onto a usable temperature. The guests in that bedroom were trapped in the bedroom all night because the door handle fell off, they had to be let out of the bedroom by other guests, we bought a set of allen keys from Yorkshire Trading to reattach the handle, two bulbs needed replacing. The downstairs chandelier needs most of the bulbs replacing, it was quite dark.

It really is fabulous- if you’re a big group book this

The only slight issues are seating all together as a group of 8 in the lounge, but hardly a biggie, and parking was a bit tricky - we got sorted, but again, that’s every town.
