About this cottage rental
This beautiful and luxurious Georgian townhouse has five bedrooms and four bath/shower rooms; boasting sea views and private parking, it's superbly located, a few minutes' walk from the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops.
Ground Floor
With superb decor, this spacious Georgian property comprises a reception hall, from which leads an elegant drawing room, with Flat Screen TV, DVD and Freesat and comfortable seating.
There is a good-size kitchen with dining area with wall-mounted Flat Screen TV - ideal to sit and relax and keep the cook company! - It is well-equipped with a large range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer plus an additional fridge.
First Floor
On the first floor are two stunnng double bedrooms, both of which have king size beds and en-suites. One has a four-poster bed with matching armoire and granite-topped chest of drawers with an en-suite bathroom comprising a corner bath with shower over, WC, bidet and hand wash basin. The second double bedroom has a beautiful carved silver bed, an en-suite shower room with double size shower, WC and hand wash basin and fabulous views of Whitby Abbey. This floor also has a smart house bathroom with bath incorporating a fixed shower unit, WC and hand wash basin.
Second Floor
The second floor has a charming double bedroom with a brass bed, a twin bedroom with wonderful sea, harbour and Whitby Abbey views plus there is also a pretty single bedroom. This floor also has a shower room with shower, WC and hand wash basin.
Outside
To the front is a paved courtyard garden - which is a sun trap - complete with table and chairs - ideal to enjoy a morning cuppa or drinks in the evening.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
