Finest Retreats - Adventure House

Spacious for a group of friends. Excellent location close to everything. Parking for up to 4 cars. Well equipped with everything you might need in a short stay.

We had no complaints but our stay was only a couple of nights so we hardly used the property to its full extent. We had everything we needed.

An excellent stay for 5 couples. The space was superb, all the rooms comfortable and clean. A great location for tge centre of whitby. Enjoyed our stay enormously

Nothing, it suited us perfectly

The house was spacious and comfortable offering ample room for 7 adults and 2 children. The children loved having their own space, especially first thing in the morning, when they headed for the playroom to watch tv. It was in a good location with the centre of Whitby being about a 15 minute walk away. The house itself is beautiful with great character and lovely features. It was great having so many bathrooms and the parking was fine.

There was scaffolding round the back downstairs and the scaffolder came back to take some away/change the configuration the night before we left. It wasn't a big issue but it felt a little disrespectful to us as guests. Maybe Fine Retreats shouldn't have booked out the house whilst it was up. Having said that, we would have found it difficult to find somewhere that met our needs as well as the Adventure House. I wouldn't recommend the house for anyone with poor mobility as the steps into the back garden are quite steep. There are also lots of stairs in the property which might put some people off.

This is our second visit to this property & it did not disappoint The whole house is excellent comfortable furnishings extremely well presented & a very well stocked kitchen of cutlery glasses plates pans etc with a nice welcome pack of basic necessities
