2nd visit with the same friends close to town very comfortable

Spacious property in great location

The location is great with easy access to the town, very spacious and great to have 4 bathrooms. Nice and warm in cold weather and kitchen well limited out

The bathroom in the first floor was dated and there was discolouration around the bath

Perfect large house in central Whitby , it’s perfect

A beautiful large house , perfect for our family of 8 with two toddlers . It’s right next to all that Whitby has to offer , we all loved it .

Absolutely perfect , if I could have had anything extra it would have been a stair gate at bottom of stairs fir our toddlers , but we just blocked the stairs with a pushchair which worked well

Spacious and well located, could use a spruce up in places.

Large and spacious rooms, with beautiful high ceilings and huge windows. Bedrooms were generously sized with plenty of cupboard/drawer space. The kitchen was well equipped for our large group. The location couldn’t be better, short walk into town, to the beach or to the cinder path. The WiFi was excellent throughout the property.

Could have been cleaner- we found old pistachio shells in a couple of rooms and it was quite dusty in places. The main living room could use some tlc- the paint needs touching up and we picked up a couple of splinters from the floor! Beds are very soft, which might be a positive for some people but wasn’t our preference.

Great house for friends and family

Lovely big house plenty of space. Beds are really comfortable and bedding is excellent. Bathrooms all excellent and kitchen well equiped Location ideal for a walk into Whitby and nice to have parking for four cars

No complaints about the house. Check in at 4pm is late as with a 10am check out you essentially loose two days. 2pm check in would make it better value for money and make it a better break

Great family holiday had by all.

Location, parking facilities, comfort and kitchen facilities. Very spacious with good bathroom layout.

A few things in the guest book that still hadn't been sorted su h as fridge light and faulty oven rack supports. The biggest improvement that could be made is the overall cleanliness, some of the areas obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time due to the tackiness of carpets, skirting boards, doors etc, this is the only real complaint but could be easily remedied by more vigilant hand over cleans and perhaps 6 monthly deep cleans.

Great location. Short walk from the harbour and pannet park. Parking facilities good, although a steep slope to access. Spacious house, lots of stairs! Well equipped kitchen .

Lack of outdoor space for family dining. Musty smell in kitchen cupboards. Light in fridge broken. Small step into the utility area , hazard!!

Our traditional family Whitby weekend

The rooms were spacious and parking convenient

The step from the kitchen to the fridge area was a hazard. Everyone bumped their foot at least once. The front door key was difficult to use from the inside.

The approach road is very narrow and has parked cars on the bends. If you have a large car or van it is very tight in places.

The property had a few issues but I feel these could be easily addressed. There were eight of us in the house and we all

Parking for 4 vehicles was excellent. They’re were plenty of bathrooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. The property had everything in it you could need or want.

The radiators were cold and needed bleeding. The front door was very difficult to open. There was not enough hot water when we were showering/bathing. The front path was thick with leaves. I swept and shovelled the path clean to stop them getting walked into the property. The dining room had an animal smell. We couldn’t turn the lights off in the hall, stairs & landing.
