"Fabrizio (the host) was extremly helpful, especially for finding a good place to park our car. He even left some free bottled water in the fridge, which a lot of other places don't do."

Charming apartment in the middle of a charming little town. We had the top floor and it's just a 2-apartment building; no one else was around. The town is very quiet - unless it's the Wine Festival, which it was. But even that got quiet by midnight.
We had temperature issues. There is an air conditioner/fan in the outer room, but not in the bedroom. It is hot in Italy in the summer, and that's fine, but it got too cold with air conditioning and not enough air blowing with just the fan in the other room. And the cotton quilt, although light, was a bit too heavy for the weather.
