Rustic, unique and unforgettable.
What I didn’t like is what I also found unique and interesting about the house. The spiral staircase was scary at first but once we figured out how to navigate it was ok and interesting twist to our stay. The pellets stoves were a bit intimidating but we got it and they were interesting to work with. Learning curve I’d say was the thing. The views from the small patio were astounding! All in all a unique and memorable experience.

Appartamento meraviglioso su due piani arroccato su Pitigliano nella parte antica con una vista stupenda sulla valle, dotato di ogni confort e molto pulito. L’host gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni info.

Leider entsprechen die professionellen Fotos der Unterkunft nicht der Realität. Ich habe eigene Bilder beigefügt, damit sich andere Reisende ein realistisches Bild machen können.
Das größte Problem war die Temperatur: Es war extrem kalt. Die Heizung schaltete sich ständig aus, und die Raumtemperatur sank auf 16°C. Besonders unangenehm war dies im Badezimmer – unter der Dusche fühlte es sich an, als hätte es nur 10°C.
Außerdem war die Unterkunft für unsere Gruppe von fünf Personen nicht gut geeignet. Es gab nur einen einzigen Toilettenraum, was bei voller Belegung sehr unpraktisch war. Besonders störend: Das obere Bett befindet sich direkt am Eingang zum Badezimmer, was weder komfortabel noch durchdacht ist.
Vielleicht ist die Unterkunft im Sommer, wenn es draußen sehr heiß ist, und für zwei bis drei Personen eine akzeptable Option. Aber in kälteren Jahreszeiten oder mit einer größeren Gruppe würde ich definitiv von einem Aufenthalt abraten.
