Calm and peaceful

This is my fifth time staying at Hanaya Ubud, and at this point, I genuinely can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I’m in Ubud. From the moment I arrive, it feels less like a villa and more like coming home. Everything about this place is special—the peaceful vibes, the perfect location, and most of all, the people. The hosts and staff are truly amazing: warm, kind, and incredibly easy to talk to. They make you feel welcome in such a natural way, always ready to help while respecting your space. You’re not treated like just another guest here; you’re treated like family.

This was an incredible stay in Ubud. The accommodation was beautiful, loved the bathroom. And the villa as a whole was gorgeous and very calm atmosphere. The staff were great and beyond helpful. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Very good stay & great value for money

Clean, nice buildings, great location (quiet & 10 mins from the centre). They have only 4 villas so the area is very quiet. Nice pool overlooking the jungle. The property needs some care in small things (especially the bathroom) but you cannot ask much for the price paid. The staff helps you renting scooters, is kind and responsive. They quickly responds to you via WhatsApp if you have any questions during your stay. Great value for money.

Really nice villa

The area was beautiful. We stayed for four nights. They provided us with motorbikes. There was no hot water the first day, but it got fixed immediately. If you do not mind mosquitoes and all of the insects, the place is lovely. We didn’t try the breakfast but there is a newly opened vegan cafe Cocoku near by that is absolutely amazing!

Very nice staff, airconditioning in the house. Pretty sights

The contact with the accommodation was very nice before we arrived. We had a lot of questions and they helped us very fast. When we arrived the staff were waiting for us and we received a very warm welcome. They showed us around and were very helpful. The room has airconditioning which is very nice for in the hot weather. It has a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the jungle. It is a bit further from the busy centre of Ubud, which is actually pretty nice. If you want to go to the centre you can order a grab taxi or scooter. Would definitely recommend a scooter, due to the insane traffic. Thank you Any for our nice and warm stay in your property. It was a perfect first accommodation for our trip.

Amazing stay

Everything was perfect : - the very beautiful room, spacious and confortable - the very nice environnement, among a rice terrace and with a nice pool - the kindness of the team and the good service offered

The lack of hot water in the shower : after having a bath, I didn't have hot water anymore even the next day...

beautiful small infinity pool

there is not much around in the immediate vicinity to see like restaurants or shops. The door to the villa does not seal correctly so you will have bugs in your room. The mattress on the bed was not comfortable.

The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. We came for check in at 9:30 pm, and waited 15 min then someone come and open

Villas in a padi field

Location is not too far from ubud central but yet quiet Villa has nice landscaping including padi fields, fish pond and swimming pool

- the semi outdoor bathroom area was kinda old, not too clean

Had a fantastic time! Villa and staff were lovely, would highly recommend others stay here.

Villas were very nice and very well maintained and felt very authentic to the local style, with extremely comfortable beds and nice shower/bathroom. There is also a TV with Netflix, and some basic tea/coffee available in the room. A bottle of water is provided every day (as you can’t drink the tap water in Bali) and Breakfast (both Balinese and Western options) was very good and can be delivered to your room each morning for a reasonable price. The location itself is a little out of Ubud city Center - a bit too far to walk but only 5-10 mins if you have a scooter, or you can easily Grab/Gojek for around $3-4 USD each way. This can be nice though as it is very quiet and relaxing at the villa in and amongst the rice fields, whilst still very accessible to Ubud city Center.

Overall there were only two very minor suggestions I would offer to the property. Firstly, I would suggest adding an additional pool lounge chair and umbrella - this was available almost all of the time I wanted to use it, however as there is only one umbrella/two chairs, this might cause some guests to not be able to use it if the Villa is busy. But for us it wasn’t a problem just a suggestion. Secondly, maybe some additional information could be added to the rooms on local sightseeing/tourist attractions, or the staff may provide an overview of how/where to book things upon arrival. Again, this wasn’t a problem for us, as these things tend to find you with some short walking around Ubud city Center with the numerous travel agents/tour guides, but may have helped to make things a bit easier and to orientate ourselves, as it was our first time visiting Ubud.

Very good price for the standard. I really like the surrounding, breakfast was very good and the houses weren’t so close to each other so we could have some privacy. The stuff was also great as always on Bali 😊

Amazing location, amazing people and host. Quite and peaceful to enjoy the vibe. Super chill environment. Near to Ubud market and other attractions if you rent a bike that is highly recommended to anyone staying here. Don't go through Ubud market at night or any time of the day as it's super congested with traffic, find alternative routes on maps

If you rent the bike from villa that will cost you more than what market is offering. But you can inquire about it before renting.

Nice Escape

Beautiful property, they kept it very at one with nature, perfect for those who want to escape the stress of south bali and the crowds and the traffic. From your room/terrace you can enjoy views of the pool and the rice paddy. You can enjoy a walk around the neighbourhood safely, the streets are quiet, and the locals are nice and friendly. There are many cafes nearby. It's nice and relaxing.

It was a little dusty - inside the cupboards and the mosquito net above the bed. I am allergic to dust and dust mites so I found it a bit itchy. But if you're not as sensitive as me then it should not be a problem. Other than that, everything was great.

Lovely place

Really enjoyed my one day stay! I felt myself very cozy like at grandmas house and couldn’t stop being happy drinking tea on the terrace with a beautiful green area view. Bed linen and towels were fresh, toothbrush and soap provided, water, coffee, tea, smart TV, good aircon, hot water in the shower, breakfast was also great - you can choose from a menu what you want.

Was a bit confused when I arrived for checkin, there was nobody to meet me, but on the door there is a number that you can contact in WA and in 2 min host will come. But might be tricky for tourists without Internet connection. I would offer to leave WiFi password visible for everyone.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, we had a wonderful stay in beautiful and natural surroundings with only the sounds of nature. The place is very clean, beautiful swimming pool and absolutely extremely nice owners who provided service at a high level. Super good and clear communication both before and during the stay.

Everything in the bedroom was good and bed was comfortable and has moskito net the open bathroom was good and we liked the shower

When we arrived tired at the hotel not a sould was there and we thought the hotel is a scam or is closed and the hotel was not answering messages yet so we drove away. After half an hour of waiting the staff told us to drive back and there they welcomed us. the welcome drink is just iced black tea and lots of sugar and the bathroom had a million ants on the floor and everywhere

Even if location is far from Ubud centre, the area is nice and quiet. A beautiful temple nearby were we had the chance to see some beautiful traditions, thanks to Nuri, the girl who manages bookins.

Some nights the frogs around the rice pools can get noisi.
