Shivananda Antique Villas by EPS

Location was incredible, I loved walking home through the rice fields every night and watching the fireflies. The bed was comfy and clean, with a good mosquito net. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked convenient. The bathroom was pretty clean and comfortable, despite being mostly outdoors.

Make sure you have good mosquito repellant because the bathroom is outdoors. Some of the doors were a bit hard to open and shut, but understandable given it's all wood. Access is limited to scooters, and some won't go all the way, so consider that if you have lots of bags and suitcases.

The size of the villa, the privacy and the location are great if you're looking for somewhere quiet and away from the noise of central Ubud. The location was perfect for us, about a 25 min walk to the center of Ubud (if you need to go there as there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets on the main road 5 minutes away). Made the host is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome, brought us a delicious breakfast each morning with a huge smile on her face. The fireflies in the rice fields surrounding the villa are an added bonus! I highly recommend a stay here.
