Amazing “secret” place and staff close to munduk

Perfect location for hiking in Munduk. They have a free shuttle bus to bring you to all the starting points to hike. Beautiful sunset over the rice fields and very nice pool. The staf is amazing and eating at their restaurant (the only one around) is truly a enjoyable diner evening out.

Our only recommendation is to improve the matras of the bed, just to hard to my liking.

Lovely stay !

This place is beautiful, situated at the sunny side on Munduk, not in the cooler, cloudy area. This was already a pleasant surprise, pool has lots of afternoon sun, amazing! Staff is very friendly and well trained, the whole area is very clean and cosy. Very good scooter rental, lovely house and good beds! We will return!

Doors very small, my husband hurt his head several times, also small breakfast tables, somewhat bigger table will feel more comfortable. Food in the evening can be improved.

It's a proper hotel with reception at the front desk, Place was nice and cozy. We took the villa so there's aircon. Love everything about this place.

It's difficult to drive over. Very hidden place. Also a little dangerous for bigger cars to reach the hotel. Parking area is also very small.

Most peaceful place in Bali. No smoke from trash burning. Quiet with minimal scooter noise. Great massage and food.

Too hot in room with no AC and no screens on windows to let breeze in and keep mosquitoes out. Bed was very hard.

Serene hotel!

What an amazing hotel! We couldn’t believe how magical it was. Small hotel with a nice feel, only 6 bungalows. Beautiful rooms, with the most incredible views of the rice fields. Immersion in nature, quiet evenings with views of the stars. You might have a few gecko guests in your room, but that comes with staying in nature! The staff were so kind and lovely, it was a pleasure to have met them. Cleanliness was excellent. The masseuse was superb. The products in the room (shampoo, conditioner etc) were really nice. The restaurant was fantastic value for money. Pretty local area to walk around with good views. Lovely breakfasts and good dinners.

A silly small thing but the plates at breakfast were so small! The food kept sliding off them while people were trying to eat.

the location is beautiful, in the middle of ricefields, flowers and trees surround every bungalow and give the necessary privacy, the gardens, quiet corners, the pool, all is well designed and very nice to see. the staff is very friendly and eager to help. the whole place looks brand new, well taken care of and put together with love. the day trip we organised was nice, and we got a friendly driver taking us to see the places we were interested in. he even took us to visit a vanilla plantation in the middle of nowhere. we could def. have staid longer than the 3 nights but

but for the food. breakfast was included in the price of our room and it showed. what a pity!! i'd rather have a nice breakfast and pay a little extra than the meagre effort we got with the free stuff. but the kitchen has more than this kind of problem, also the other meals we had were so and so. insipid if you don't like spicy (i do so i was "lucky") and one day it was well cooked, the next day the same dish was half raw. the level of the restaurant was generally below the level of the lodgings. and the place being isolated, going elsewhere for dinner becomes a problem. i need to mention also that in bungalow nr.1 Merah the smell of moist was overwhelming. i have the impression this is a big problem to be solved as soon as possible.

It was the best accommodation I stayed in Bali. Wonderful scenery and friendly staff. Both the pouring stars and the quiet and beautiful village were the best. I highly recommend the spa that you can get outdoors in a private location. I'll definitely visit again.

Amazing

I can’t even begin to list all the things I loved about this stay. The location - right in the middle of rice fields with the most peaceful atmosphere - felt like a dream. Although I know that there’s plenty of beautiful places like this in Bali, the big difference here is the staff. I’ve been to many hotels in my life and I’ve never felt as safe and as welcomed as here at Sri Lestari. All employees are so friendly and accommodating, it felt like being home. My boyfriend got really sick during our stay and the manager did everything he could to help us and make this stressful situation easier - from making a doctor come to the hotel to make sure I was eating properly. To sum it up: you really feel like they care. Apart from this, our bungalow looked amazing and perfectly fit the environment, all amenities were super clean and the food was awesome. (bonus: I highly recommend the massage which was one of the best I’ve ever had in a beautiful scenery as well) I really only have good things to say about this place and I just wish we can come back one day as I already miss it, thank you!

My favourite hotel in Bali! The bungalow are beautiful and spacious, the view on the rice fields is gorgeous and the staff is so so kind and friendly. The breakfast is good and generous. We felt in paradise for a couple of days!

Wonderful stay on the rice fields in Munduk!

What a gorgeous little gem in Munduk! Despite being a little further out of the main action in Munduk, this place was well worth it! Overlooking the stunning rice fields the views are beautiful, the villas are so beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast here was fantastic and the staff are so kind and attentive. The hotel is still in its “soft opening” phase however I feel they certainly know what they are doing to make their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here. You will want to have a scooter to get around.

Only issue was no air conditioning in the villa however it was significantly cooler in the mountain region at night.
