Relaxing, spacious villa in a quiet part of Bali

Lovely homestay style accommodation. If you are looking for privacy in a quiet street, close to Lovina Beach, bars and restaurants, this villa is perfect. Kadek greeted us, and we confirmed what services we wanted for our stay. Breakfast is simple, just toast and fruit, but for 25,000Rp, cooked breakfast can be provided. Motorbikes, transport, and massage services can be arranged. We opted for self-catering and bought food from the supermarket and cooked for ourselves. Kadek was very respectful of our privacy request, and she messaged us daily to check if we needed anything. She tidied and watered the garden and pool area daily and offered to attend to anything required inside the villa. The villa has 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, a small lounge and kitchen, and a spacious garden and pool. It is simple, and the kitchen and bathrooms are a little tired, but overall, it is clean, tidy, and a good value for money villa. I woul d definitely recommend staying here for a quiet holiday in traditional style Bali for a relaxing holiday.

Local roosters and barking dogs are nearby, but that's part of local Bali life!!!

Total disaster all round.

We only went to enjoy the beautiful pictures of the pool. If was absolutely filthy. andshpould not have been rented out that day. My husband a pool expert tested it and it rated 10 for chlorine , should be around 2 for safety. if i had put my head under god forbid. The gas hob exploded when we tried to light it. Te fridge useless as seals were broken. The kitchen was also unueable as red hot. (small fan useless to cool room that size. The bedroom doors had gaps and we got bitten to death. The mosquito net broken on 3 sides, when asked the owner sad it was just for decoration!!! What??? i got half way through my shower and the water went luke warm. There w nother villa next to the pool, said was just an unused office, had a bed, kitchen, pair of underpants dryingo outside and sheets on the line. The villa next door had a camera point onto our property. The owner was pleasant but absolutely clueless in how his pool should work, also the water tested was really acidic. Said we could tay on till 3 to swim next day but readings were till the same after a pool m n visited same morning.

The pool was great to cool down in but had way too much chlorine. The location was good.

Our breakfast was never provided over our 2 days. The host comes onto the property without asking (whilst swimming, getting ready etc..) Too much chlorine in the pool.

Make Casa Shanti great again!

Elo and Kadek the house keepers are a fantastic asset. Friendly welcoming and attentive. The villa is in a great location to the Main Street and restaurants. The pool area is also exceptional.

Stayed here many times over the years…it is no longer deluxe! Bedding and towels are of a poor quality. The shower area floods as the water runs in the opposite direction of the drain. The kitchen is poorly equipped, with mismatched plates and drinking glasses. PLASTIC bowls only. No wine glasses or goblets to be seen. Two tired old fry pans for cooking. The fridge seals are worn out and all the cold escapes. Breakfast advertised is dry bread, jam and Balinese coffee or tea, which is an insult! If you want extra the two lovely ladies will provide more if you pay. The second bedroom is locked? It is supposed to be two bedroom villa. A few dollars well spent could rectify most problems.

The pool was lovely and the location very good. Kedak is lovely and very helpful. Terrific at massaging. Putu Roy was our driver and was very good.

Love for Lovina

Everything was wonderful, the pool is a lot larger than In other villas. The gardens are well maintained and very tidy. Kadek and Idah weres available to help with any requests. The breakfast was delicious... best omelette to start off the day. Kadek came to give us both massages on 2 occasions. The staff made us feel at home and like family. The villa is a close walk to the beach and main road. We had a great time. We will be back.

All in Villa Casa Shanti Deluxe was a pleasant stay in spite of a few issues.

The garden & pool was a great place to relax. The villa is in a good location.

Maintenance had slipped. I read previous reviews which did not discourage me and i had hoped some issues had been rectified but sadly no. I think an a/c or at worst a ceiling fan us definitely required in lounge/kitchen area. It is very hot & stuffy. The tv in second bedroom either fixed, replaced or removed. The flooding in showers is annoying, dont really want to be brooming excess water towards drain whilst on holidays.

Great holiday villa in North Bali Lovina

Great little hidden gem, walking distance to where we wanted to go, pool was great, rooms were spacious, great little kitchen was able to cook for ourselves. Has a little fridge (could do with a little bit of maintenance, seals coming away, and leaking water on the floor). Air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both rooms just no Air-conditioning in lounge, dining, kitchen area just a stand alone fan. Massage and laundry service are available on request. Will 100% book again when we come back to Lovina Bali in the future.

Advertise as breakfast included but was only toast with jam, was expecting something more, advise just taking that off the booking as was disappointing, has fully equipped kitchen so just recommend buying your own supplies and cooking your own breakfast.

The outdoor pool was very nice with a good location the street. Cleanliness could be better.

The outdoor pool is large and outside area is nice.

The bathroom. The shower kept flooding with water and we asked the owner for assistance and no one came. The kitchen and eating area was very hot. The kitchen also had ants. Kept having to ask for more toilet paper and tissues. No proper dishwashing soap to clean dishes with. Our bed sheets and towels were not changed the whole stay, wasn’t sure whether to ask or not.

The villa is good and big. Nice garden & pool area.

The breakfast was just disappointing. And 1 hour before our check out time (11 am) they let the next guests to get into the property which I think it is not appropriate. Yes they could put their stuff in the property, but not letting them get into the villa area while there are still other guests there.

La localisation parfaite proche de la plage et des activité. Maison très grande et belle. Personnelle très gentil

Quand nous sommes arrivée la maison était pas propre. Piscine pas nettoyer et pas remplis. Vaisselle à moitié propre. Salle de bain pas propre. J’ai appeler le perso elle qui sont venu le lendemain pour faire le nécessaire, mais j’ai remplis, mis en route là picisine et fait moi même la vaisselle. Pour ce sentir un minimum correct
