HARMONY villa

La casa está muy bien equipada. la terraza es lo mejor para las noches de verano. Estuvimos muy a gusto aunque por la noche hay algunos mosquitos ( normal en verano) y pican. La casa tiene mosquiteras en todas las ventanas y se agradece. Tiene lavadora, horno.. y hasta barbacoa que no usamos por falta de tiempo pero nos quedamos con las ganas. Le pedimos al anfitrión si tenía para dejarnos una sombrilla para la playa y al dia siguiente nos la trajo. nos salvó los días de playa. Está en una muy buena zona de restaurantes, supermercados y a 15 min en coche de Heraclion centro.Está muy cerca de la playa y muy bien comunicada con la carretera que te lleva a Heraclion u otras partes de la isla y paradas de bus también muy cerca para llegar a otros lugares de la isla si no dispones de coche.

La cama de matrimonio se le notaban un poco los muelles y eso hizo que el confort no fuera del todo para nosotros. En la bañera le faltaría un soporte para poder poner la alcachofa de la ducha, ya que es un poco incómodo ducharse aguantando el grifo. Pero la estancia fue muy buena y estos pequeños detalles no nos importaron demasiado.

I loved everything. My kids especially loved the courtyard, very spacious, clean and private, and with the parking space too. The kitchen had everything we needed, the washing machine was useful and it has space to hang clothes outside. Very relaxing, I wish I stayed longer!

Ein herziges Häuschen im Ort, ruhig gelegen in einer Seitenstrasse. Cafés, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie das Meer fussläufig erreichbar. Besonders hat uns der überdachte Sitzplatz im Garten vor dem Haus gefallen. Ganz toll war es für gemütliche Barbecue-Abende, da es einen Grill und einen Holzbackofen hat. Praktisch war auch der Carport im Garten, so wie die Wäscheleinen unter dem Dach draussen. Es gab genug Wasserdruck und warmes Wasser zum duschen (was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist) und das WLAN funktionierte auch gut. Im Garten steht ein abends beleuchtetes Boot und es wachsen Melonen und Granatäpfel, sowie Kräuter und Blumen. Sehr schön! Kokkini liegt gut für Ausflüge nach Heraklion und Umgebung und ist nahe beim Flughafen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top!

Der Kochherd ist ziemlich alt und es fehlt auch an gewissem Besteck und Kochutensilien. Wir haben dann auch nicht drinnen gekocht sondern nur draussen gegrillt und dafür eigenes Brot im Holzofen gebacken, was super war. (Das war auch ein Hauptgrund, dass wir das Haus gewählt haben) Die Waschmaschine im Bad hat der vorherige Mieter leider total verdreckt hinterlassen, sodass wir die zuerst gründlich reinigen mussten, bevor wir sie benutzen konnten. Leider war der Garten auch nicht so sauber und für kleinere Kinder eher ungeeignet (Dornen, Kakteen, tote Insekten, Zigarettenstummel…) Für uns waren diese Aspekte jetzt nicht so schlimm und es hat unser Urlaubserlebnis nicht beeinträchtigt, daher nur 2 Punkte Abzug

One of the cutest vacation homes we ever had! The house and the garden look really great (photos on booking.com are accurate). Everything is thought through and is made handy and with good taste. 1. Very responsive host - we got answers to our questions (via booking.com chat) within a couple of hours. 2. Clean house, not big but so cute! Everything is so nicely decorated. Kudos to the host - he has very good taste. 3. Very good and handy terrace in front of the house - we loved having breakfast and lunch there. There is also a bbq place and a pizza oven there. 4. Small plates restaurant Μεζετζίδικον Βογιατζής just 20 meters away - really good place, you can eat there for 10E per person. Two supermarkets at about 5 min walking distance. 5. Close to the airport: about 10 min drive. Easy to find location. Close to highway, but far enough from it not to get bothered by the cars.

1. The village itself is rather boring - not much to do there except beaches and restaurants. 2. You can hear airplanes landing at Iraklion airport.
